Important Information Re: Pool Closings

Pool Levels are determined by difficulty (special features) & are priced at base rate plus $80 per special feature.

Please note that we do not vacuum at the pool closing. Please leave your pools running and keep them maintained up until the closing. A clean pool at closing means a faster pool opening in the Spring!
On the day of your pool closing, please make sure we have access to the pool, equipment, water, power & the pool cover.
For scheduling purposes, please keep in mind that we are closed for Labor Day on Monday, September 4th, but we are open Columbus Day on Monday, October 14th. Please note, we do not book times for closings, but can give you a time frame on the day of closing.
New policy regarding “First AM” appointments: These are reserved for customers who have system equipment inside the home that REQUIRES access. Otherwise, the schedule is determined daily on the morning of, according to location. No exceptions!
NOTICE: If you have a balance due on your account, please make sure to pay in full before your pool closing. We reserve the right to postpone any pool closing until the balance is paid in full. We accept all major credit cards.

Closing & Winterizing Your Pool

Pool closings must be done properly to avoid costly repairs when you open and summerize your pool the following season. Sweetwater has full and partial pool closing and winterizing options.

Full Winterization

Lower the water level.
Treat water for winter.
Clean DE and Cartridge filters.
Blow out all pipes and system.
Add antifreeze.
Plug all inlets.
Airlock main drains and caretaker lines.
Cover the pool.

Partial Winterization

Blow out all pipes and system.
Add antifreeze.
Plug all inlets.
Airlock main drains and caretaker lines.
